While hiding behind a slurry of gratuitous nonsense they proceeded to insult me and attempted to bully me into submission! All I had asked for was the discount that they had promoted on their website and to which I was apparently entitled. Simple and reasonable requests are ignored, or purposely misunderstood, by their mostly anonymous operatives who in my experience stubbornly refused to correctly deal with or pass on a complaint to a senior executive (which I had specifically requested). The most appalling - no, execrable - so-called 'Customer Service' that I have ever experienced. Don't waste your time with this company and use a more reliable website. I was even accused of insulting them when I have been courteous and patient throughout the whole transaction. Instead, I was given the same message over and over with no intent of even looking into their error. I have consistently repeated as such to their customer service people and asked that they investigate the issue because it must be a mistake. This in itself is impossible because I use a private home network, my home is 2 hours away from university, there is only one university account per person, and I'm pretty sure I can still clearly remember events from 6 months ago. I asked for details and was told it was about 6 months ago, with a domain name from my university. I tried making a purchase with their "cash back offer" and after was cash back was confirmed, they promptly closed my account giving me a bogus reason that I had previously used a New Member Coupon.
